The MBA Veterans Club at the Wisconsin School of Business is a student run organization open to both current and former members of the United States and International Armed Services. The goal of the Veterans Club is to connect current, former and prospective students in order to enhance professional advancement, connect with prospective students, and to overcome common challenges faced by veterans. Membership is open to students from the Full-Time MBA, Weekend and Evening MBA programs. The General purpose is to:
Expand and enhance the professional network of Wisconsin Alumni with military experience in order to increase career opportunities for club members.
Provide opportunities for members to showcase and grow their leadership abilities through volunteer opportunities.
Prepare students for the internships and full-time positions through career coaching, resume reviews and mock interviews.
Welcome new members and their families to the Madison area through social activities.
Assist incoming students with the transition from the military to civilian life, and ensure an understanding of Veteran benefits at the Federal, State and school level(s).
Assist prospective military candidates with the Wisconsin application process and advocate the admission of qualified veterans.
