Join the GFO as we travel to the Berkshire Hathaway Annual meeting! Legendary investor Warren Buffett will share his views on the market, investing, and the economy.

We will travel Friday afternoon, attend the meeting on Saturday, and then return Sunday. Housing will be provided and we will coordinate travel closer to the event date. There are only 12 passes available for our MBA program so space will go fast!

Tech Product Club - Product Pitch Competition

The Tech Product Club is hosting a product pitch competition at the end of March!

Case will be revealed on Wednesday, 3/27 at 12:00pm. Presentation submission deadline is Thursday 3/28, 12:00pm. You can network with the judges during lunch that will be served at 12:15 in the Executive Dining room on Thursday. Teams will present from 1pm to 4pm on 3/28, with the winner being announced at 4:15pm. We will try to sequence the presentations based on your class timings, so you don’t have to worry about missing a class if you have one. There will be 2 members on a team presenting the product design/development idea and the go-to-market strategy. A maximum of 8 teams are allowed, so admission will be based on a first come first serve basis.

Teams will have 10 minutes to present followed by 5 minutes of Q&A with judges. The first-place team will receive Google Home Hubs, and the second-place team will receive Google Home Minis.

Any full-time MBA student can participate. Registration deadline has been moved to Friday 3/22, and participating teams will be announced 3/23. Registration fee is $25 per person. Interested teams should email Kevin Mackstutis (mackstutis@wisc.edu) with the names of their team members and their payment method. Please also CC Chad Reinhardt (careinhardt@wisc.edu).
