Shawn Dennis is a President, CMO and Strategic Business Leader with more than 30 years of spearheading strategies, steering enterprise-wide initiatives, and directing innovations that position major global brands, such as DreamWorks, Mattel’s American Girl, Dell, the NFL, MasterCard, and Universal Studios, for profitable, sustainable growth. Her background includes successful experience defining business priorities, championing corporate mission, and creating synergies between brand assets to build customer relationships and loyalty. I have pioneered explosive retail growth, the launch of new business units and integration of content and storytelling to build customer engagement.
Carlos Herrera is currently part of the Inclusive Diversity team in Human Resources at Allstate, and brings 18 years of Talent Acquisition, University Relations, and Inclusive Diversity experience. Carlos began his Allstate career in 2004. During that time, Carlos led the National Sales Management recruitment efforts and later was promoted to play an influential role on the Diversity, Inclusion and Work/Life team. After he left Allstate in 2008, he rejoined in 2012. His work involved developing and executing Inclusive Diversity strategies around Allstate’s nine Employee Resource Groups, which have become an even stronger driving force at Allstate. Carlos currently focuses his time with building relationships with external organizations, while playing a major role with other special projects like Diversity Recruitment.
Angela Russell is the Director for Diversity and Inclusion at CUNA Mutual Group. In this role, Angela is responsible for leading the development, direction and implementation of short and long-term strategies and programs that support diversity, equity, and inclusion; leading the Diversity & Inclusion Strategy Team and Diversity & Inclusion Council; championing changing and providing guidance, coaching and leadership in the development of a culture that celebrates, values and recognizes diversity and inclusiveness; researching and sharing emerging trends, legislative developments and leading edge initiatives; and building and maintaining internal and community relationships that support diversity, equity and inclusion. In addition, Angela provides training on diversity, equity and inclusion for CUNA Mutual Group.
Ms. Russell has more than 15 years of professional experience involving diversity and inclusion, external relations and outreach, communications, policy development, and research and evaluation.
